About this opportunity
Founded by Nobel Laureates Murray Gell-Mann and Philip Anderson, the Santa Fe Institute (SFI) in New Mexico is the global epicenter of complex systems science. Its 10-week residential Undergraduate Complexity Research (UCR) program selects ~12–15 exceptional international and US undergraduates to develop an original theoretical or computational research project in complex networks, evolutionary dynamics, artificial life, collective intelligence, or scaling laws under the mentorship of SFI faculty.
